What I Wore Today :: Creative Interview Attire

Many of my friends are in creative fields.  Everything from producing films to marketing to fashion.  In general, Los Angeles is a fairly laid back environment, even when it comes to approach and attire.  I always error on the side of dressing up.

One, would anyone really fault you for looking dapper?  Two, why not being a bit of class to any situation?  I am a fan of both.

{i go for simple but fashionable :: the best wardrobe is one you don’t notice for an interview}

{let you shine}

On a creative interview, one can get away with interesting textures and fabrics as well as with shorter skirts {not too short, let’s not go crazy with club wear length}.  Also, try mixing in just one “corporate” item if you still aren’t quite sure if it is too fun and funky.

blazer :: calvin klein collection

dress :: elizabeth and james

hair :: simple slick ponytail

makeup :: natural

Things that rock about a creative environment:

{being able to wear fun, costume jewelry}

{wearing patterns :: leopard, stripes, the combination of the two}

{killer shoes}

I am assuming if you are going in for a creative field job, you are a creative minded lady…so tap into the path less traveled and wear something that is uniquely you.
