What I Made Today :: Homecoming the Movie :: Behind the Scenes

Last year, I took a vacation to Florida and visited a dear friend of mine, Brea Grant, on the set of Homecoming. An indie film in which Estelle {Brea} takes military leave in her hometown of Celebration, Florida. The story unfolds as her relationship with her best friends {Tom Fox Davies and Sean Hackett} and her mom {Colleen Camp} unveil fears and truth.

It was a project that is very near and dear to her heart and, furthermore, she rocked the scene as a leading lady.

This Monday, the 25th, her film is being screened here in Los Angeles at the Downtown Independent.  They will be hosting a Q & A with the cast and crew afterwards and I believe Brea will be introducing the movie.

{a little behind the scenes magic that i shot and edited as brea grant takes me on a tour of the set of the feature film, homecoming}

I had a sensational time in Florida seeing Brea in her element, doing her thing, and I can’t wait to see how the final project is going to turn out {it did win best feature at the Kansas City Film Fest}! Have I mentioned how I have the raddest, more creative group of friends? Blissful appreciation.

Hell to the Homecoming yeah…

        Likewise. Hopefully the Pacific Surfliner won’t encounter any train robbers on the way back from San Diego.
