What I Heard Today :: The Tallest Man on Earth :: Weather of a Killing Kind

He makes you want to laugh and cry and feel absolute joy.  The Tallest Man on Earth has mastered the art of melting dichotomous emotions together and has earned the title of indie folk hero.

Ironically, The Tallest Swedish Man, Kristian Matsson, stands at five and a half feet tall {nice use of irony btw, Matsson, because you are a small dude…}. He is a master lyricist whose words encompass poetry and demonstrate his virtuoso nature.

What I love mostly about Matsson is the fact that English isn’t even his first language and he impressively plays and sings with an ardent dedication to the American roots sound.

Everyone that I have introduced him to immediately comments on the similarities between him and Bob Dylan, who is also known for emitting true emotion through his voice.

He has a way of transporting a listener to another time, another place, and another emotion.  That’s some talent of a particular killing kind.
